Help Us Decide - and Win a Premium Rifle Scope!

Two webshops, one survey - and a chance to win a premium rifle scope

If you visit our site regularly, you've probably noticed: we actually run two webshops. The older, WordPress-based www.riflescopeshop.eu and this newer, custom-built www.riflescopeshop.com - the one you're on right now. We built the new one because we wanted something faster, more modern, leaner and easier to use – for our customers and for ourselves.

But did we actually manage to build something better? That's not for us to say. You decide.

That's why we've launched a comparison test: we'd like you to visit both sites, complete a few short tasks, and then fill in the survey. You don't need to write an essay – a few words is absolutely fine, though we're of course delighted if you go into more detail. Everyone who fills in the survey enters a draw for a great all-round rifle scope.

The prize

Important: If you live outside the EU, we're still happy for you to take part and your feedback matters to us - but unfortunately we're unable to ship the prize outside the EU. We wanted to be upfront about this.

The tasks - on both sites

The test has two parts. On each webshop you'll need to complete 3 search tasks and place an order for a free target. It doesn't matter which site you start with. The tasks are similar in structure on both sites, and you'll rate your experience in the survey. It's worth jotting down notes as you go - it'll make things quicker. :-)

EU site tasks - www.riflescopeshop.eu

1. Rifle scope for a .308: You have a .308 rifle and you're looking for a better scope, 3-12x magnification. How many results came up? How many are in stock? Which one would you choose and why?
2. Mount for a PCP air rifle: You're looking for an angled mount for a PCP air rifle, Picatinny rail, 30mm tube. How many results? What's in stock? Which would you choose and why?
3. Rail adapters - a common headache: Search for rail adapters on the site. How many do you find? Which would you choose if minimum height gain is the priority - and why?
4. Order a free target: Order one of the free targets (you can order more than one). The site doesn't ask for payment details - any payment method works fine.

COM site tasks - www.riflescopeshop.com

1. Precision scope for 6.5 Creedmoor: You have a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle and you're looking for a high-magnification 6-36x scope for precision shooting. How many results? What ring size do these scopes need (tube diameter)?
2. Scope for an HFT competition: You're looking for a scope for a springer air rifle for HFT competition - with the smallest possible objective lens diameter. How many results came up?
3. Angled mount for a 34mm tube: You're looking for a fixed or adjustable angled mount for a 34mm tube. How many results? Which would you choose?
4. Order a free downloadable target: Order one of the free downloadable targets (you can order more than one). The site doesn't ask for payment details - even if you select card payment, no card details are required.

Comparison

You don't need to write at length here either, but if you do it's a huge help. Even a few words about your impressions goes a long way.

How to win more chances - the referral system

We'd love to hear from as many of you as possible, and if you help spread the word we want to reward that. Every completed survey = 1 entry in the draw. But if you share your unique link and your friends fill it in too - you get +1 entry for every referral.

Simply put: if you complete the survey and 3 friends fill it in via your link - you'll have 4 entries in the draw.

You'll get your unique referral link on the thank-you page after submitting the survey - just copy and share it. Facebook, WhatsApp, email - whatever works for you.

The tasks take around 10-15 minutes, and the survey itself only a few minutes more. The survey is available in English, Hungarian and German. In return, you're in with a chance of winning a quality rifle scope - and you're helping us improve the site you use yourself.
