MitaPoint 11 mm → Picatinny Adapter – What It Does and Who It's For
If your air rifle or rimfire firearm is fitted with an 11 mm dovetail rail and you want to use standard Picatinny / Weaver mounts on it, this adapter bridges the gap – without unnecessarily raising the optical axis.
The MitaPoint adapter is not a compromise solution: its 97 mm length provides enough surface for most compact mounts to sit firmly and without play. The 4 mm profile means the scope axis rises only minimally – which is particularly valuable on air rifles, where cheek-to-stock contact matters.
Design and Clamping Principle
The underside of the adapter features an 11 mm dovetail receiver profile with a spring-loaded side element. The adapter slides onto the rail and a small grub screw holds it in position temporarily – the actual, lasting clamping force is provided by the Picatinny mount's own locking screw, as the system is designed to work. Simple, proven and reliable.
The upper surface is machined with standard Picatinny / Weaver slots, so any Picatinny-compatible ring mount, red dot base or tactical accessory fits without modification.
Material and Finish
The adapter is machined from aluminium alloy with a hard anodised black finish. The surface treatment resists wear and corrosion, and the matt black colour blends visually with most firearms.
Precision machining ensures a tight, rattle-free fit – no movement, no wobble, no adjustment needed after installation.

What It's Suitable For – and What It's Not
This adapter is designed for air rifles, .22 LR firearms and similar low-recoil platforms. It provides a stable and reliable base for riflescopes, red dot sights and smaller tactical accessories.
For high-recoil centrefire calibres, a more substantial solution with heavier clamping and additional fixing points is recommended.
Who Is It Recommended For?
Anyone who wants to use standard Picatinny mounts on a firearm fitted with an 11 mm dovetail rail – without raising the scope unnecessarily and without compromising on stability. If you need it for two firearms, the twin-pack is a practical and cost-effective choice.
