MitaPoint Carbon Fiber Bipod – Stable Support, Minimal Weight
A bipod supports the front of a firearm from underneath, allowing the shooter to focus entirely on aim rather than holding position. The MitaPoint bipod is aimed at shooters who want a simple, lightweight support solution without the bulk or cost of tactical-grade hardware. It is designed for rimfire rifles, air rifles and airsoft guns – not for heavy-recoiling centrefire calibres.
Carbon Fiber Legs
The bipod legs are constructed from carbon fiber, which offers a higher strength-to-weight ratio than aluminium and is inherently corrosion-resistant. The head assembly and mounting hardware are metal (steel and aluminium). This combination keeps the overall weight low while maintaining the rigidity needed for a stable shooting platform. Carbon fiber also performs reliably across a wide temperature range, so outdoor use in cold or warm conditions is not an issue.
Height Adjustment and Spring-Return Legs
The legs extend to five fixed height settings between 15 cm and 23 cm (6 to 9 inches). Each position locks in place and is released by pressing the leg release button. When folded, the legs are held closed by spring tension and snap open quickly when deployed. This makes for fast, one-handed setup in the field. Folded, the bipod sits compact and out of the way during carry.
Mounting Options
The primary mounting point is the sling swivel stud – the small threaded post found on most traditional stocks and forends. The bipod threads directly onto this stud without additional tools. For rifles fitted with a Picatinny or Weaver rail on the forend, the included adapter allows the same bipod to be rail-mounted. The adapter is secured with the Allen key supplied in the box.
Rubber Feet
The rubber feet at the base of each leg grip hard surfaces effectively and absorb minor movement caused by recoil. They do not leave marks on finished surfaces and maintain their shape under normal use conditions.
