T-Eagle EOS 6-24x50 AOE HK – Front Parallax Riflescope for PCP Air Rifles and Precision Shooting

As part of the T-Eagle EOS series, the EOS 6-24x50 AOE HK is a riflescope that delivers surprisingly good optical performance in the lower price category. It is primarily aimed at PCP air rifle hobbyists and recreational shooters, but can also be used effectively on lighter firearms for sport shooting purposes.

Optical Performance and Image Quality

The 6–24x magnification range covers the typical shooting distances of air rifle use well: at lower magnification, targets are easy to find, while at maximum zoom it provides sufficient detail for shots at 50–100 metres and beyond. The 50mm objective lens ensures adequate light gathering, and the fully multi-coated lens system produces a bright, high-contrast image under normal lighting conditions.

The internal optics of the tube are nitrogen-filled and therefore fog-proof – there is no risk of lens fogging when moving between cold and warm environments.

HK Reticle – The Key to Precision

The scope features the thin metal wire HK (Half Kilo) reticle characteristic of the EOS series, positioned in the SFP (Second Focal Plane) arrangement. This means the apparent size of the reticle remains constant regardless of magnification; however, the MOA/MIL values of the reticle are only accurate for range estimation at a fixed magnification setting (typically maximum).

The half-mildot reticle is particularly useful for ballistic compensation: it makes estimating range and windage corrections straightforward without having to adjust the turrets before every shot.

Front Parallax Adjustment (AOE)

The AOE (Adjustable Objective – Elevation) system allows parallax-free focusing via the dial on the objective lens housing. This is especially important at high magnification: if the parallax is not set for the shooting distance, the target and reticle are not in exactly the same focal plane, which leads to inaccurate shots. The front parallax dial is appropriately firm – it does not drift – yet turns smoothly.

Turrets and Adjustability

The elevation and windage turrets operate with 1/4 MOA click values, meaning each click moves the point of impact approximately 7mm at 100 yards (approx. 91 metres). The adjustment range is ±30 MOA in both directions, which is more than sufficient for air rifle use.

The turrets feature a pull-to-adjust / push-to-lock design: the cap must be pulled out before making adjustments, and pushed back to lock before shooting – this prevents accidental changes. Zero reset can also be performed using the dials after re-zeroing.

Illuminated Reticle

The reticle of the EOS 6-24x50 AOE HK can be illuminated in both red and green, with 5 brightness levels. Illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery (the battery compartment is located on the side of the tube). In lower light conditions – such as overcast weather or indoors – the illuminated reticle helps with fast and precise target acquisition.

Mechanical Construction

  • Single-tube aluminium body — 6061 aluminium alloy, also used in aviation; shockproof and lightweight
  • Tube diameter: 25.4mm (1 inch) — fits standard-size scope rings
  • Weight: 591g — light enough not to upset the balance of an air rifle
  • Waterproof and shockproof — sealed and nitrogen-filled for fog resistance
  • Eye relief: 65–68mm — comfortable eye distance, well suited to air rifles
  • Field of view: 23°–3.73° — wide at 6x, well narrowed at 24x

Who Is It Recommended For?

The T-Eagle EOS 6-24x50 AOE HK is primarily suited to those looking for a reliable, optically capable riflescope for their PCP air rifle without breaking the bank. It is ideal for beginner and intermediate air rifle shooters who want to shoot accurately at distances of 25–100 metres and appreciate front parallax adjustment, lockable turrets and an illuminated reticle. It is also suitable for smaller calibre firearms (e.g. .22 LR), but is not recommended for high-recoil rifles.

What Do Users Say?

Based on reviews and forum posts online, the most frequently praised features of the EOS 6-24x50 AOE HK are its image sharpness and light transmission, which most users find pleasantly surprising given the price point. The thin metal wire reticle and the easy-to-use front parallax dial also receive positive feedback. Minor criticisms include occasional mentions of slightly uneven magnification ring rotation, and that the lower illumination brightness levels can be hard to see in bright outdoor sunlight. Overall, buyers consistently rate the value for money as excellent in this category.
